Repeated intro

Hello everyone,

What changed

0 fixes4 additions2 changes0 removals
  • Gameplay
  • Performance
  • Events
  • UI and audio
addedThis update aims to add some features some of you guys recommended. This update did result in a lot of internal restructuring so if you experience any bugs, errors, or just have any future ideas, let me know. Thanks for playing!
changedPost Level Review - After each level victory (excluding endless modes like Kana Blitz ), you’ll be able to see what words/characters you were able to correctly type and the ones you have missed. You’ll be assigned a letter grade based on your performance ranging from S (the best) to F (the worst).
addedDefinition Mode - In this new game mode option, the Japanese and definition displays are flipped! You’ll be shown the definitions of words and you have to type the corresponding Japanese translation. For example, an enemy might spawn with the word red and you have to type aka . Definitely select this game mode option if you want to challenge yourself! This option has been added to Kana’s Customize Your Own Level , Kanji Corner’s Customize Your Own Level , Kana Blitz , Kanji Blitz , and JLPT Practice .
addedThe Display Furigana Option - You can now choose if you want to view furigana for Kanji enemies. Toggle this option to choose between showing hiragana subtext above the kanji and strictly only showing kanji. This option has been added to all Kanji-related game modes: Kanji Corner’s Customize Your Own Level , Kanji Blitz , and JLPT Practice .
changedA Few Quality of Life changes for the UI and Map Environment have been made
addedFor the next update, I plan on adding a feature where you can make a list of Japanese characters/words you want to practice. You should be able to save it locally so that you can retrieve it anytime to play, update, or delete it.
