addedPrologueIn the game's trailer, you might have noticed that Kalyskah is an open-world game and that we have much more content completed than what is shown in the demo. The demo represents the first step in our conversion of the game to Unreal 5, as we originally began development in Unreal 4. During this process, we improved the landscape, but some elements became misaligned from their original positions, and we are currently addressing these issues in the cutscenes. Our goal is to update the demo next year to provide a glimpse of what we aim to achieve for the open world, where you will explore the world before Kalyskah's temple fell into ruins. This is a preview of what we are doing so far; we'll be adding nanite, balancing the colours and making many other improvements before it's ready:
addedThe Imp:Throughout next year, we will start to add a new variety of enemies, such as this friendly imp called Mister Pankakes:
addedThe GameplayAs we move forward with adding quests, new clothes and enemies, we'll be refactoring the whole code to fix the issues we faced while updating the game to Unreal 5, and as we do so, we'll improve the whole combat and locomotion system. We'll let you know when we have news!
changedThe InterfaceThe game's interface will also be improved. We'll start with the romance interface (which right now is a bunch of grey and red buttons) to turn it into something more classy:

Final thoughts
We still have some path ahead of us before we believe that the game is in the right shape so we can start the early access, but we plan to do so next year. In the meantime, we'll be releasing some demos here and there when we feel that we have something you'll enjoy playing, gather your feedback, and then fix and improve upon it. I hope you are as excited as we are to see where this vampire story will go, cheers! 🩸
