addedMap Expansion (May - July 2026)The map expansion is crucial for future content such as the story mode, This expansion will double the current map size with a 500x500m area increase. The new map area is covered in large lakes and rivers and will include new water based animals which will make a day at the lake quite interesting! With this expansion comes a set of new points of interest such as underwater wrecks to explore and a large abandoned crocodile park. Where have all the crocodiles gone I wonder?
addedWater Vehicles (May - July 2026)Exploring the vast lakes and rivers of the Kalahari, Players will need something to breeze across the waters! Players will find a broken down airboat which can be repaired using scraps found across the new map area. Airboats can be used as the perfect mobile base, Offering luxuries such as a gas grill, storage and a mattress for those overnight trips! Just make sure to drop the anchor or you might be drifting all night! I'm also experimenting with some other vehicles which will be shown when ready.
addedController Update (July - Sept 2026)The controller update will add full gamepad support to Kalahari's End. This will include support for PlayStation and Xbox controllers. Other features include full button guides, Vibration support, Ease of use improvements and improved controls. Work is also being put into optimization for Steam Deck users.

Story Mode (Sept 2026 - Feb 2027)
While transporting an experimental and highly intelligent combat machine your navigation systems fail as you suddenly start plummeting towards the sands of the Kalahari. After landing you consider the fact your unexpected stop may not have been a coincidence. Something unhuman is down here with you. Story mode will come out with the full release for Kalahari's End including a wide range of quality of life updates.

This is the planned schedule for Kalahari's End for the next year. Although plans have been set I may release updates earlier or later than the estimated times, But will try to stick to the allocated times.
