Hi Cats! Calvin Karubin here! I didn't make a v1.0.9 update post here because it had just been the day and I didn't want to spam, but I might as well bundle it into this update!
The Demo (repeat for those who haven't seen)
I'm taking the demo down for a bit because it was made months ago and runs on some pretty ancient code. I get worried every time someone recommends others to try the demo now because it doesn't really portray an accurate experience of current Isekat.
Some streamers mentioned that the best demos allow you to carry over save data to the main game and... it sounds like a pretty good idea to us. We're going to update it and put it back up! Please give a little time!
Bug Fixes and Balances
Chests at the end of completed dungeons now have a 1/3 chance to give 3.000 Catnip!
Realised from watching the streams thus far that the price of buildings was too inaccessible. My bad guys, I didn't study Economics in school 😵💫 I've made certain buildings and towers more affordable.
The Catnip Multiplier wasn't multiplying numbers quite right. The numbers weren't adding up. We fixed it. For all the people who were like, 20 Catnip away from fixing the next building and you went into another dungeon run just to get those... I'm sorry 🥺
I moved a tree that streamers kept running into. Hope less people run into it now.
The flag for the Fish Snacc achievement wasn't activating. Fixed!
Starting new game removed immortality at the end of the tutorial. Fixed that so it doesn't. People using the immortality cheat (somethingisrising) can continue just fine.
An immortality flag in the final fight wasn't activating. Fixed that.
Received a report that certain hostage rescues weren't being logged upon returning to Overworld. Added more autosave points to remedy that.
