We've been hard at work on a new feature: the Notebook. This is a place you can save and reuse entire circuits, or selected sub-circuits, from your design table.
In the editor, right below the other tools, there is now a 📖 Notebook button. Clicking this opens your notebook, and initially, all it contains is a letter from Alicia.
If you've used the Copy (C) or Cut (X) commands in the editor, then New from Clipboard will be enabled; otherwise, you can always use either New from Table (to save the whole circuit) or New from Selection (to save just the selected part). That will create a new page, and let you name it however you like. Here's an example from later on in the game, when I have quite a few saved designs.
Or, you can select one of the previously saved designs, and Use (or Delete) it. If you click Use, then the notebook closes, and you're back in the editor, with the circuit attached to your cursor so you can plop it down wherever you need it.
This is going to be a real time-saver, especially in later challenges, which will often require making sophisticated use of earlier circuits in useful combinations.
This is the last major change we're anticipating before the next release. Now it's just polish and building with the new underlying game engine. Stay tuned!
