Save System!

Hello everyone! Like I said in my previous announcement I wanted to get a single player save system out as soon as possible, so here it is! A multiplayer save system is on its way as well, but I wanted to push this update right away. Additionally, I've added support for ultra wide monitors.

Changes

  • Single-player save system! The game will auto-save every time you enter the map screen and when you enter the portal room

  • Added support for ultrawide monitors

  • At the first shop before the Forest only 150g cost artifacts will appear

  • Player names now start at 1 instead of 0 (Player 1 instead of Player 0)

  • Made a few balance changes to the giant and the fairies

  • Changed the scaling of cards in the shop to hopefully make it more readable

  • Hardcore mode and Classic mode are available from the beginning

  • Removed the option to start from the Desert or the Dungeon since these were band-aid fixes for not having a save system.

Bug Fixes

  • Added missing upgrades for the Windwhirl card for Viking

  • Hardcore achievements should be unlocking now

Coming Next

Over the next week I will be working on a multiplayer save system and boss variants for the forest and desert.
