Insula: Bounty Royale changes
Bug Fixes from pre-alpha testing and mid-air collision
New Features:
Added check for available room when attempting to exit the crouched state, character should not stand up if does not have room to do so without clipping into something
Infinite flight energy bug should was fixed
Spawning outside the dome during drop-in on the Nesis-Red map was fixed
Issue with score tracking objects beign created before players steam name was available, resulting in no scores being shown in leaderboard list has been fixed (did not have time to test this one so meh... :D)
Issue with game shutting down after 5 minutes of running arenas offline for testing should be fixed
New Features:
Added first iteration of mid-flight collision damage. NOTE: This is the mid-flight collision / impact damage, NOT fall damage. Fall damage has not been implemented yet.
Any collision that occurs during fast flight mode which is significant enough to force you back into hover mode, should now deal damage based on the velocity of movement at time of impact. This damage goes BOTH ways if you collide into another player!!! ie both of you will be damaged from the impact. Damage to other players is AoE based, tiny AoE but still AoE, if you are really good, it is technically possible to slam yourself into a group of others who are bunched up (for whatever reason) and Jenkins the whole lot of them. (yourself included!)
This also means that chasing someone through tight or twisting areas has now become a dangerous prospect if you are not all good and comfy with the flight controls. You have been warned!
