Instruments of Power changes
Hi everyone!
This release introduces the new Spark battle loop, adds energy gates and soul plates to the field, alongside a wave of UI and tutorial polish.
One heads-up: it resets existing saves, so you'll be starting a fresh playthrough.

⭐ Highlights
- Save resetthis update changes the save format, so saves from earlier versions are no longer compatible and you'll need to start a new playthrough.
- Sparksdefeated enemies now drop Sparks. Gather them in battle to fill your meter. Each time it fills you pick a boon to empower your sorceress, with new visual and sound effects.
- Magic gates & soul platesnew field elements. Step on a soul plate to open a connected gate and unlock fresh tactical routes, with new sound effects.
⚔️ Combat & AI
Enemies are now more effective at finding a path from far away.
Improved catalyst upgrade choices.
🎥 Controls & Camera
Added a deadzone to gamepad stick input (gamepad support is still incomplete).
Fixed an unwanted camera jump at the end of a level when two avatars are present.
✨ Visuals & VFX
Fixed VFX that could show above the level fog.
Various art touch-ups.
🖼️ UI & UX
Spark count and meter UI.
New boon selection screen.
Undo move is no longer blocked after a move that dealt no damage.
Upgrade screen polish, including stat details in the upgrade tooltips.
The cell details panel is more compact and no longer mixes permanent and vegetation blockers.
Improved the demo end screen.
Fixed some text formatting that was not displaying correctly.

Added tutorial steps that teach the new Spark system.
Polished the opening tutorial's first spell sequence.
