Inquisitor Shepherd Dev Log - [November 2025]
Hello, this is Narrowdeep, the developers of Inquisitor Shepherd. It's been an incredibly busy month since our Tumblbug crowdfunding campaign and demo release on October 3rd. We're here to share our development progress with you.
October was a month dedicated to fixing bugs in the demo, finalizing Chapter 1, gearing up for Chapter 2, and simultaneously working on the English demo version.
1. Demo Bug Fixes and Stabilization
So many of you have played the demo and left feedback and bug reports. We are truly grateful.
Thanks to your help, we have been able to create a relatively stable build that is free of major gameplay-hindering issues. There are still some minor bugs and adjustments remaining, which we plan to address along with the English version update.
2. Chapter 1 Complete (and a Small Spoiler)
All work on Chapter 1 is now officially complete!
The demo version included about half of the "Judgment" phase from Chapter 1. For those who were left wanting more, we're releasing a small, pixelated sneak peek of a scene that only appears in a specific branch of Chapter 1. 3. Chapter 2 Development Status
Immediately after finishing Chapter 1, we dove straight into developing Chapter 2.
Art Assets Work on new assets for Chapter 2 is currently in progress. In particular, most of the character standing illustrations for the Judgment phase are complete. Please look forward to new stories and characters.
New Gameplay Experience Our goal is to provide a fresh and engaging experience in each chapter. To achieve this, we are focusing on developing new sub-game elements and side stories that will reveal the hidden backstories of the characters in Chapter 2.
4. Solid Development Foundation
Most of the core game mechanics, which we have been meticulously building since the early stages, are now complete.
This means the game's fundamental framework is stably built. Thanks to this, future chapter development and content additions are expected to proceed smoothly and quickly. We will build a richer story upon this stable system.
5. Preparing for Global Release: English Demo Development
To introduce Inquisitor Shepherd to a wider audience, we are currently developing an English demo version.
We plan to release the English demo soon and gather feedback from both domestic and international users. We will promptly fix any reported bugs and implement improvements to further enhance the game's overall quality.Steam post imageSteam post image
