Innkeeper's Basement changes
Hello adventurers!
Sorry for long radio silence, but I had to pause the project and postpone releases for a little bit, because of personal problems.
This is one of the biggest updates for the game so far, which is why we jumped ahead a few versions (0.27->0.33). It will be last major update before full release - however we will still release bugfixes in the meantime.
We plan to exit EA and fully release the game somewhere this year - along with the final dungeon, final boss, some new content and some in-game story (if time will allow).
If any of you who will read this likes the game and would like to see more - please help us reach people who could enjoy the game :)
Now without further ado, here is the changelog:
Changelog 0.33:
Mechanics:
Grimoire presets - now you can have many grimoire presets - so you no longer have to re-do your grimoire each time in order to min-max - just load a preset or create new one!
Sanity mechanic - each card costs 1 sanity, sanity regenerates 1 per turn. No more infinite combo cheesing (you can still cheese, but its a diet cheese ;) ).
Added very slight bias towards enemies spawning in groups, rather than completely randomly.
Enemies revealed by enemy abilities, and not by the player, will not attack the player right away.
UX:
Many new VFXs - for cards, units, tiles and more!
Dungeon goal & effect - now can be seen during the run!
Enemies which have dodge/immunity show “DODGED!” or “IMMUNE!” when they are damaged.
Hovering over card name in game log now shows up this card.
Fixed some enemies descriptions.
Karma store no longer shows up if you have 0 karma.
Added a warning when picking a card that costs more than your max of given resource.
Added tooltips for each resource cost on card (colorblind people will have an easier time playing now!).
Added tooltips with each keyword description.
On death effect descriptions are combined.
Used up one-time abilities of enemies are no longer displayed.
Tutorial improvements / new steps.
Edge scrolling improvements.
Karma shop improvements.
Tooltips improvements.
Settings improvements.
Summary window improvements.
Unit descriptions now fit the area better.
Grimoire filters improvements.
Added filtering by cards rarity.
Added a new search bar in grimoire.
Changed labyrinth objective from “unlock the exit”, to just “escape labyrinth”.
You can now pick up the 'Crown' in the 'Tiny Treasure Room' even on an empty level.
Added hiding enemies on the mouse scroll button.
UI:

Further implementation of a new font.
Small improvements to deck and discard windows.

Content:
Two new dungeons: “Omega World” and “Devil’s Mound”.
Two new items: “Potion of Invisibility” and “Potion of Sanity”.
Two new cards: “Madman's Might” and “Purple Pill”
Optimization:
Fixed frame drops in character creation and in game, that were generated by loading new cards. Now all the objects are properly cached.
Balance:
Changed assassin unlock to “while invisible, kill an elite enemy with penetrating damage card”.
Changed "On Discover" effects can now be triggered only once; hiding and revealing them again won't trigger this effect.
Buffs:
Removed the “After x turn” effect from resource cards like “Fast Breathing”.
“Victorious Strike” now restores at least 1 stamina.
Nerfs:
“Berserking” no longer adds its health cost, to its damage.
"Armor Swap" now only drains as much enemy armor as you can restore, rather than draining all enemy armor.
VFX:
New Spell cards visual effect.
New Unholy cards visual effect.
New Music cards visual effect.
New Fire cards visual effect.
New Attack cards visual effect.
New unit death animation + visual effect.
New tile revealing visual effect.
Other:
Improvements to Polish translation.
Set correct tags for ‘Bomb’, ‘ Poison Bomb’, ‘Poison Dart’, “Poison Nova”.

Fixed icon display on desktop.
Fixed “buy on steam” button in demo, which displayed a wrong string.
Fixed 4:3 aspect ratio.
Fixed grimoire filter-related problems.
Fixed unit description position relative to unit position.
Fixed buttons in character creation/karma shop.
Fixed Time Bender revealing himself.
Fixed problems with card dissolving animation.
Fixed problems with UI when changing aspect ratio.

The game now updates changes made to your cards by passive abilities right at the start of the game, rather than after the first turn.
Fixed problem with translating objectives: you no longer need to reset the game.
Fixed problem with on-going timers on cards to work correctly on continued saves.
Fixed problem with enemy effects with timers; now they are counting correctly.
Fixed problem with refreshing of “for turns x” cards descriptions in discard.
Fixed problem with cards ability timer for counting “Echoing Strike” cards as a part of combo.
Cards with “After x turns” effects no longer respond to your mana/stamina pools while their effect is active.
Fixed problem with cards not counting magic and strength in statistics, while in blessed window.
Fixed problem with quest log memory, you will no longer lose progress on 'portal fragments' upon continuing the game.
Fixed problem with golem HP doubling on every re-entering of the current save.
Fixed problem with hands slots blocking upon re-entering to the current save.
Fixed problem with displaying 999+ cards in deck and discard upon re-entering to the current save.
Fixed problem with game crash appearing, after continuing your save.
Fixed problem with two different cards occupying a single slot.
Card slots no longer appear on top of each other, while using the “Aquarius” constellation.
Fixed problem with “Kick” card direction arrow, not disappearing after using the card.
Fixed problem with game crashing when rapidly changing between character portraits.
Fixed problem with game crash that occurred when leaving the game while still drawing cards.
Fixed problem with the “Deck” tutorial step.
Fixed problem with loot bag, where you were not able to leave the window, after selecting the card.
Fixed the problem with the refreshing of game object statuses.
Librarian will no longer be triggering bug, where his too expensive cards were displayed as playable.
Fixed problem with In-game log not disappearing after time.
“Goblin Leader” now works properly in the “Wandering Lands”.
Fixed problem with banish mechanic; it will no longer make some units invisible.
Fixed problem with “Imp” on-death effect not passing when hidden.
Fixed problem with the issue where units eaten by the "Devourer" were not being removed while the player was on another level.
AoE cards will now only inflict damage on units that are currently on the board.
“Larva Egg” will no longer reveal all surrounding tiles on death.
All Steam achievements are now functioning correctly on Windows.
Fixed problem with game starting by default in 960p.
Fixed issues with updating the language change while in-game.
Fixed problem with character class window.
Fixed problem with the Volcano dungeon not ending when you killed all enemies.
Fixed problem of the player getting stuck in the arena.
“Hex” card now counts all your curses correctly.
Known issues:
Achievements do not work via proton on Linux.
