Update 6: Aug 15, 2024
The big change in this update is that Lobbies are back!! Not only does this make it easier to get your group together and ready before heading into the POD, but it also eliminates a major vector for mission bugs by not allowing players to join after a mission has loaded and a level has been generated.
Gameplay
Added new hazard/trap spawns – cryo tanks and cryo crates
Made keycard pickups a bit easier to spot
Art
Added more “mini POI” rooms to branching style maps
New assets for cryo tank and cryo crates
Several small fixes and adjustments to oddly aligned assets
Stability & General Bugs
Lobbies are back!
Servers will now lock properly when a mission has been started so players can’t join late and experience a broken level
Fixed some misaligned doors and doorways
Fixed hazard cleaner sound fx to replicate for all players, not just the host
Fixed eggs to both burst correctly (sound fx) AND have a proper decal that doesn’t stretch up the walls or spawn too high
Fixed broken breaching tool sound fx cues so it hits when it hits, and swishes when it doesn’t hit
Fixed some oddly aligned rubble spawn points
Fixed broken hazard cleaners in several rooms
Fixed broken minimap icons for several new mini POI rooms
