Gameplay
Fixed up a bunch of connecting rooms and smaller rooms that were not properly spawning atmospheric procedural elements, hazards, traps, and threats, which should lead to MUCH more activity happening outside of the main POI rooms
Threats do a better job re-aligning themselves to face (and attack) the player when fighting them up-close
Hazard Cleaner now has sound fx for when it is used/triggered to make it more clear that it’s doing something when used
Crimson Rips will no longer block players, creatures, or weapon fire from going through them
Art
Adding more ‘micro POI rooms’ to levels with a “branching” layout type, to ensure those levels see more of the unique (and navigationally helpful) spaces that tend to be cut for being too large of a room size for this generator method
Fixed a number of slightly floating procedurally generated assets in rooms
Fixed a number of slightly floating or misaligned static assets in rooms
Added more clutter and prop detail to the Galley POI room
Name/Labels over tool pickups now always face the player to be readable at any viewing angle
Stability & General Bugs
Eliminated more bugs from level generation that occasionally lead to failed hallway generation at level load
Fixed bug where some hallways with back-to-back inner/outer corners would generate with a gap on one end
“Very Hurt” heartbeat sound no longer gets heard by the host when another player should be hearing it instead
Fixes to 3rd person animations that were broken in the Unreal 5.4 upgrade
Further reduced the volume of some of the louder sound fx in the game (like the mission start docking sequence sounds)
