New Laws

We are introducing new Laws in Major Update #5. There are 6 new Laws coming to the game:

  • Kill on Diagnosis

  • Extra Care

  • Cannibalism

  • Ceremonial Burial

  • Autopsy

  • Body Disposal

While we don't want to spoil what the new laws do, the names are probably self-explanatory. Expect more options to shape the Zone in your desired direction. Pay extra attention to the needs of your Citizens or prioritize survival at all costs. The choice is yours.

To make the Laws more interesting, we are also adding new Law-related events. Your Citizens will now react upon passing some laws. Imagine you have decided to enact child support rights to take place in your Zone. Yet some of the citizens find them unjust. They are rebelling against the young adults receiving additional rations, while not having to work. What will you do?

Story Mode Settings

New game customization options have been available in the game for some time now. They allow you to tinker with a lot of options, disabling the infected's ability to swim, for example. The major drawback of those additional settings was related to the need to disable the story events. This will change with Major Update 6.

We are introducing the Game Customization for the Story Mode, too. While it won't include a few options (disabling illness events, changing day length), we hope that it will vastly improve your experience with the game. Especially when starting a fresh, interesting run on a new location.

Updated NPC Zones

With Major Update #6, we are also updating the NPC Zones. For example, encountering Raider or Purifier Camps will now result in seeing the whole enemy settlements on the map. If you manage to kill all the enemies and break into the HQ, their building adaptations will now become your own. It's a challenging, yet rewarding way to start a New Zone when moving with Convoys.

Squads - Patrols

As you know from the previous announcement, we are vastly updating the Worker AI via the new priority system. But we have also seen your requests to provide Squads with more options, too. That's why we are introducing a new feature for the Squads.

  • Squad Patrol - if you decide to close the order queue by clicking on one of the previous destination points, the Squads will come back to it at the end to repeat the whole route again. The route can be very simple (2 points) or as complicated as you want it to be.

What do you think about the newest Trailer and all the additions that have been announced for the Major Update #6? Which feature is the most interesting of them all in your opinion? We can't wait to read your feedback! Thank you for playing Infection Free Zone.

Best regards, Jutsu Games Team
