addedGreetings, Survivors! The Major Update #6 is finally here ! We are extremely excited to bring this huge chunk of new content and features to all the players. Everyone should find something interesting in this update, whether it's the new priority system, the tanks and mortars, or the bloomery to produce metal, because they were always running out of this one specific resource.
changedPriority System - ReminderAfter analyzing the feedback from the open beta branch, we can see that there is a group of players who still prefer the old priority system. That's a perfectly valid approach! If you would rather change to the old priority system, go to the Settings and change the "Workers Management" to "Manual":
addedPriority System - ReminderOf course, we still heavily encourage you to check the new Priority System. While you might need some time to get adjusted to it, it should take away most of your problems with micromanaging the workers. Just take some time to experiment with new priorities. Don't make works that are too big when not necessary and use all the priorities (including the middle one as a base) to get the most out of this system.

Greetings, Survivors!

The Major Update #6 is finally here! We are extremely excited to bring this huge chunk of new content and features to all the players. Everyone should find something interesting in this update, whether it's the new priority system, the tanks and mortars, or the bloomery to produce metal, because they were always running out of this one specific resource.

If you need a quick rundown of the most important additions in this update, check the Trailer below!

Priority System - Reminder

After analyzing the feedback from the open beta branch, we can see that there is a group of players who still prefer the old priority system. That's a perfectly valid approach! If you would rather change to the old priority system, go to the Settings and change the "Workers Management" to "Manual":

Of course, we still heavily encourage you to check the new Priority System. While you might need some time to get adjusted to it, it should take away most of your problems with micromanaging the workers. Just take some time to experiment with new priorities. Don't make works that are too big when not necessary and use all the priorities (including the middle one as a base) to get the most out of this system.

Old Saves

As mentioned in the previous announcements, older saves won't be supported in this Update. If you still want to continue playing your old save, you have to change the branch on Steam and switch to the previous Update:

  1. Right-click on Infection Free Zone in your Steam Library.

  2. Select "Properties..."

  3. Go to the "Game Versions & Betas" tab.

  4. Select "old_major_update_5" to continue playing on your old save.

In recent days, some open beta players have asked, so we also want to clarify - after the full release of the game, we don't plan to do any more save wipes of this sort.
