addedI wanted to reach out and let you know that we are still hard at work on the new update. The game isn't dead, haha. To be honest, it never really took off, but we're still working on it. Some of the new features coming with the update will be almost as significant as when Apple releases a new iOS update. But that's not important right now. What I want to talk about today is that the new update will bring a completely redesigned world, so you'll be able to enjoy new landscapes and a much richer map. I'm planning maps that are 4x4 km in size, featuring massive mountains, each with its own unique features. But that's a topic for another day, as the initial budget for something like that is around €800, which is currently out of reach for me. But we're making do with what we have, haha.
changedThe next big change with the update is the complete removal of the third-person view. The game will now be entirely first-person. Why is that, and will it ever return in the future? The primary reason is that first-person animations are much easier to create—you only work with two hands. In contrast, with third-person, you have to coordinate the entire body with the first-person perspective, weapons, items, and so on.
addedThe AI will also be getting improvements, with new zombie sounds. They will only spot you up close but will react to noise, so you'll have to be careful about how you use your weapons.
addedAdditionally, there will be new player animations, weapon animations, and more. All of this takes a lot of time, so the current version of Infection Crisis will remain as it is until the new update shines in its full glory.
changedIn conclusion, please be patient. I’m not sure when the update will be released, but once it’s out, it’s going to be something special. The next stop is realism in terms of everything—animations, maps, zombies, etc. I sincerely hope that this update will be released before 01.10.2024, as the game needs to be ready for Halloween, a holiday celebrated worldwide (except in Serbia, haha), but we’ll be sure to honor it!
addedAdditionally, new languages will soon be available, such as Chinese, Brazilian Portuguese, German, and other similar languages.

Under all possible conditions, you'll be able to hold EVERY item in the game in your hands. Of course, this is also a massive undertaking because we currently have 194 items in the game, and the plan is to have around 250-300. The game is going to be quite complex, but that's the goal. There will be an online guide and an in-game tutorial to help you out.

Why am I planning to make it so complicated? Simply because I want this game to stand out from EVERY other survival game out there. Most survival games are relatively easy; survival is just about not dying from hunger, thirst, and AI.

The AI will also be getting improvements, with new zombie sounds. They will only spot you up close but will react to noise, so you'll have to be careful about how you use your weapons.

The images you see are still WORKS IN PROGRESS, so everything is subject to change.

Additionally, there will be new player animations, weapon animations, and more. All of this takes a lot of time, so the current version of Infection Crisis will remain as it is until the new update shines in its full glory.

Multiplayer is also something that we will be working on a lot because survival games are much more fun with two, three, or more players.
