Boss battles for The Heist and The Red Castle
Reduced file size! Depends on your operating system how much exactly but all of them have been reduced by at least 200MB!
This update includes lots of new characters to fight, including two bosses! As usual I've painted some more backgrounds and made a few more exploration encounters. The Heist is starting to make more sense plot-wise, and The Red Castle makes complete sense now. The stories themselves I hope to make more involved with bespoke conversations and maybe even branching content.
The bosses themselves are typically simple enemies with large health pools and slow/big attacks, which should give you an opportunity to really utilise all the charms, upgrades, friends and abilties you've accumulated up to that point. I also thought it would be fun if the King Poodle joins you in the boss fight for The Red Castle.
You can gain combat items during combat now! The gunpowder tile will grant you bombs to drag onto the grid or enemies. In the future I will make something similar for health potions and so on.
A fun feature is a special designer dog that can upgrade your user interface if you meet him.
I've been working on a few important bug fixes, thanks to players letting me know about them! The gameplay doesn't seem to stop anymore but please let me know if you find anything. Thanks to everyone who has been patient for this update, I know it took a while!!
See ya later
