changedHighlights : This one is all about stronger early-game automation —the Gravel Pit now unlocks early, repairable as soon as your Woodcutter is on the island , so you get a passive AFK stone source not long after starting, answering your long-standing feedback that the early game lacked automation . Royce the traveling merchant's auto-loop is steadier and smarter too: after the Trading Post is built and the handoff is done, he keeps chopping wood and auto-selling instead of stopping. Plus fishing boot pity, idle fuel savings at the workshops, closer target-picking for workers, and fixes for a possible Royce freeze during handoff and a half-transparent leftover ship.
changedGameplay Improvements
changedGravel Pit · now available early, repairable once your Woodcutter arrives : The Gravel Pit now unlocks as soon as there's a Woodcutter on the island (previously locked until after the bridge). Repair it early on and let it passively produce stone (plus a little sand) on its own—an early, steady AFK stone source that feeds bridge repair and Royce's tool-crafting. This directly answers your feedback that the early game lacked automation .
changedFishing · boot pity : After a streak of catches with no boot, your next catch is guaranteed to be a boot ; we also nudged up the base boot rate to ease boot shortages.
changedBlacksmith Shop / Gem Workshop · auto-stop when idle : When there's no ore/gem left to process in the queue, fuel/blade consumption now stops automatically, cutting waste.
changedUI · clearer consumable-buff hints : Consumable buffs you can click show a "click to use" hint at the end of their tooltip, and buff-icon display/layout is cleaned up.

Gravel Pit · now available early, repairable once your Woodcutter arrives: The Gravel Pit now unlocks as soon as there's a Woodcutter on the island (previously locked until after the bridge). Royce the traveling merchant · steadier, smarter auto-loop: After the Trading Post is built and you've completed the handoff with Royce, he now keeps chopping wood and auto-selling instead of stopping; his overall auto-loop scheduling is more stable too.
Fishing · boot pity: After a streak of catches with no boot, your next catch is guaranteed to be a boot; we also nudged up the base boot rate to ease boot shortages.
Blacksmith Shop / Gem Workshop · auto-stop when idle: When there's no ore/gem left to process in the queue, fuel/blade consumption now stops automatically, cutting waste.
Workers · smarter, closer target picking: Workers now choose resources and storage by actual walking-path distance rather than straight-line distance, so they take fewer detours.
UI · clearer consumable-buff hints: Consumable buffs you can click show a "click to use" hint at the end of their tooltip, and buff-icon display/layout is cleaned up.
Bug Fixes
FixedRoyce · fixed a possible freeze during the Trading Post handoffFixed a case where, after the Trading Post (trade ship) was built and the handoff tutorial appeared , Royce could freeze completely —no chopping, no selling, and not even leaving the island after the tutorial ended.
FixedTrade ship · fixed a half-transparent leftover when two ships depart togetherFixed Royce's boat and the Trading Post trade caravan departing at the same time leaving the first one stuck half-transparent and never disappearing .
