Update #23 : Transition to v1

There have already been a few deviations from the roadmap, adding more content than expected, and I plan to release more updates, including one, if I’m highly motivated, that will be very substantial (a multiplayer mode).
addedJust before diving into the patch notes, I would like to announce that the game demo is now available on the store page. It allows you to play up to Tier 2, after which Elias will invite you to become a full member. No progress is lost, making it ideal to ensure the game meets your expectations.

Now, let’s take a look at what has changed compared to the previous version.

Bug fixes :

  • It is now possible to assign an ingot to the 6th slot in the luminite forge

Additions :

  • 1 menu

  • 3 save slots

  • 1 demo running in the background

  • 1 hidden achievement

  • Machines now have a maximum level

    • One achievement per machine when it reaches the maximum level

  • Added the “∞” symbol when Monstercoin exceeds 10e300

Optimizations :

  • The save system has been reworked to be smoother (hence the hard reset for the transition to v1)

  • The recruitment menu is no longer constantly loaded (linked to the save system)

  • In performance mode, the Monstercoin counter will take longer to update the cost in the Tab menu

Now, regarding the comparison between early access and v1, I like to look at the progression :

  • 💻 223,827 -> 527,863 lines of code

  • ⚙️ 3,205 -> 10,589 event blocks

  • 🎨 724 -> 918 unique assets

  • 🧞 116 -> 568 wishlists

  • 💬 105 -> 105 members on the Discord server

  • 🏆 48 -> 79 achievements

  • 📈 38 -> 92 upgrades (R&D)

  • 🎵 30 -> 30 minutes of OST

  • 💰 0 -> 284 copies of the game sold

As you can see, the game has grown significantly. It has more than doubled, exactly as planned.
