Idle Spiral Major Update: Public Beta Now Available

We are opening an opt-in public beta for the next major version of Idle Spiral.

This update rebuilds significant parts of the game's internal infrastructure, including save data, account systems, UI,

localization, and the shared PC and mobile foundation.

Because of the scale of these changes, we want to test the update with volunteers before moving it to the default branch.

Your feedback will help us identify problems and bring the update to every player as soon as possible.

What's Included

• Hanoi Tower, a new endgame feature unlocked at Tornado Prestige Tier 100

• Major UI redesigns and an ongoing migration to Unity UI Toolkit

• Performance improvements to startup, rendering, battles, automation, and saving

• A new validated JSON save format

• Improved backup, recovery, and save Export/Import tools

• Google account linking

• The new Idle Mileage system

• Numerous bug fixes and usability improvements

Accounts And Cloud Saves

Google account linking and the shared PC and mobile save format are now included.

Legacy Steam Cloud synchronization is temporarily disabled for safety. Account-based cloud save synchronization is not

enabled at the beginning of the beta.

We plan to enable and test cross-platform synchronization gradually during the beta after completing the necessary safety

checks.

Local saves, manual backups, and save file Export/Import remain available.

Important Save Notice

This beta officially supports migration from the current public v2.7.7 release.

Existing saves will be migrated automatically on first launch, and the original pre-migration data will also be preserved

automatically.

After launching the beta:

1. Open Settings > Data.

2. Select CREATE BACKUP.

3. Use EXPORT SAVE to keep an additional copy in a separate location.

Beta saves are not guaranteed to be backward-compatible with v2.7.7.

If anything appears missing or incorrect, do not overwrite the save or use Hard Reset. Close the game and report the issue

first.

How To Join

1. Right-click Idle Spiral in your Steam Library.

2. Open Properties > Betas.

3. Enter the following private beta access code:

spiraltestplay

1. Select the test branch.

2. Wait for the update to finish downloading, then launch the game.
