Apes another patch has been deployed with new weapons and levels!!!
Patch Notes:
Gameplay:
Bounce Bird: Adjusted bounce bird velocity so it will no longer disrupt upward momentum if you are moving faster than the bounce bird would bounce you.
Weapons: Tenderizer: • Added alt fire Spear: • Added to demo Tesla Coil: • Improved Audio and VFX • Fixed bug when sliding into electric field
Maps: • Added a new city map (Macaque Massacre) • Added a lab map (Baboon Biohazard) • Added a new jungle map (M'boga Swamp) • Added a new desert map (Monke Mesa)
Umbolo's Arena: • Reduced max health from 4500 -> 3500
UI: • Added new UI for lock on Melee attacks • Added leaderboard view to the overworld • Made the stamina bar notched for each dash • Added the Monkepedia section to the menu, allowing players to view tutorial information again + Style actions and enemy info. • Updated the materials on the medals on the overworld • Added a foliage quality dropdown to the graphics menu. Foliage is quite expensive so this option should help improve performance on lower end machines • Updated Grind and Grapple tutorials to give a better explanation of the mechanics
VFX: • Added poop vfx during slide • Redid the mesh on grind vines
Audio • Improved Don's Answer SFX
NPCS: • Don't piss off Don
Bugs / Fixes: • Fixed a bug where ground particles don’t play during a slide • Fixed an issue where the Stoned Ape does nothing on interact • Fixed issues with weapon switching which can stop the player shooting for an extended period • buffed the ‘bsb’ technique by allowing two more boosted actions for a total of three as it was too weak for the cost. • enabled slide jumps to give slight mps even when not held • fixed music not playing on umbolos arena • Buffed banan bomb launched, overcooked and standard by ~20% • Fixed an issue where a player could get knocked out of a slide by a banan bomb • Fixed Motion blur slider not saving • Implemented a clamp on max FOV to prevent FOV becoming unmanageable at high speed
