The cooking station, seasoning station, craving changes, and card discards are all noticeably smoother. We also updated the version of Godot the game is built on, which brings further under-the-hood improvements. We are also opening a public Beta branch on Steam. This is a separate branch where you can try upcoming features before they reach the main game. To opt in, right-click Hungry Horrors in your library, go to Properties > Betas, and select the beta branch. The first feature available there is Banquet mode.

New princess variants available: Basic, Random, Stinky, Clumsy, Diet, and Lazy. Loch and Megaliths dishes - new dishes added for both biomes.

  • Slippery now gives evasion based on x2 deck size

  • (BETA) Completing a steak in Banquet mode triggers an unlock animation the first time you return to mode select

🐞 Bug Fixes

  • Apply Seasoning correctly overrides slot

  • Dish card correctly shows applied seasoning

  • Seasoning can be correctly overwritten

  • Visual bug when removing the final inventory item no longer persists

  • Repeating loot rewards removed

  • Cleanse correctly unmires dish cards

  • Vendor loot now populates correctly

  • Cooking a single dish on the campfire no longer breaks the audio server

  • No longer possible to get a recipe chest if there are no unlocked recipes left to learn

  • {version} placeholder replaced with correct version number on welcome popup

  • Pot Hook hunger boost bonus now correctly carries over to the next turn

  • Saucier hunger boost bonus now correctly carries over to the next turn

  • No longer rewarding duplicate spices

  • Loot filters corrected based on act number
