Update 0.2.15: Balancing, Cookware and Bug Fixes

A balancing and bug fix focused patch today. Loot rewards, dish stats, fishing, biome spawning and more have all been looked at, plus nine new golden cookware pieces and quality of life improvements throughout.

addedA balancing and bug fix focused patch today. Loot rewards, dish stats, fishing, biome spawning and more have all been looked at, plus nine new golden cookware pieces and quality of life improvements throughout.

addedChanges and ImprovementsLoot and spawning — loot rewards rebalanced and now spawn correctly across all biomes. Skippable animations — you can now skip the silver ingredient placement animation and boss intro animations. Inventory sorting — dishes are now sorted by flavour and craving by default, with name as a tiebreaker. Failinis now has an inventory where you can place dishes for him to eat. Lugh opens the shop directly after your first meeting with him, skipping the dialogue. Seasoning station — improved controller and keyboard support, and it now auto-assigns to an empty slot if one is available. Fishing spots despawn after 10 catches. Fishing loot rewards have also been rebalanced. Mode changes

New Golden Cookware — nine new golden cookware pieces are now in the game.

Changes and Improvements

Loot and spawning — loot rewards rebalanced and now spawn correctly across all biomes. Skippable animations — you can now skip the silver ingredient placement animation and boss intro animations. Inventory sorting — dishes are now sorted by flavour and craving by default, with name as a tiebreaker. Failinis now has an inventory where you can place dishes for him to eat.   • Spicy mode: Horror levels reset on vanquish

  • Culinary mode: ingredients dropped are now based on cookbook recipes you have unlocked

Other changes

  • Spice Hitremoves spice and deals -2 damage per spice removed
  • Craving Strikeremoves a craving chain item and deals -3 damage per item removed
  • Cast Dislike, Hate and Bait now target ingredients based on what you have unlocked

  • Feasting dish now gives x3 ingredients

  • Crosh Curin restores 100% stamina

  • Firkin shield corrected to award 10 per free discard

  • Nook event (Clavie Burning): now correctly causes stamina loss instead of cinder gain

Bug Fixes

  • Toxic Bite correctly applies poison

  • Omer Casserole Deep Freeze amount corrected

  • Ingredient loot reward rebalanced

  • Slow Cook and Perishable correctly trigger at turn start

  • Dish hunger calculations for loved dishes with statuses like Blight corrected

  • SFX no longer occasionally plays twice at once

  • Bog Horror rooms now have a campfire for Culinary mode

  • Seasonings correctly apply status in Culinary mode

  • Nook Wassailing correctly awards Gravy instead of Vegetable Gravy

  • Rampart applies the correct amount of shield

  • Indulge now waits for the craving chain retrigger to finish before the monster turn starts

  • Controller: some popup menus were not focusing buttons correctly

  • Controller: Banquet modes can now be selected with the d-pad

  • Campfire was sometimes showing incorrect details about dishes and seasonings

  • Saltbox max stamina awarded calculation corrected

  • Removed audio from radio buttons during initialisation

  • Rally no longer fires on self serve
