Hungry Horrors changes
Patch 0.2.24: The Loch Biome in Beta
The big one for this patch is the Loch biome, now live on the Beta branch. Set in the Scottish Highlands, it brings new Horrors, dishes, a quest, and artefacts. This is a testing release, so feedback is very welcome! Head to our Discord if you spot anything.
To opt in to Beta, right-click Hungry Horrors in your Steam library → Properties → Betas → select the beta branch.
New Features
(BETA) Loch biome — the Scottish Highlands biome is now available for testing.
(BETA) Nimue quest — a new quest is now in the game.
Sentry crash analytics — now integrated to help us track and fix crashes faster.
Changes and Improvements
(BETA) Artefacts added for Loch and Megaliths
(BETA) Nimue cutscene now correctly appears in the game
Trow walk animation frame order corrected
Tremor adds less rubble cards
Cockatrice no longer freezes when casting Sully
Discarding a Tablespoon from the compendium now correctly duplicates a random cookware
Biteback applies the correct amount of damage
Max stamina correctly adjusts when cookware is toggled on or off
Chest loot tier glow colour now correctly matches the highest tier loot inside
Nessie and Trow eat animation corrections
Bug Fixes
Banquet mode Loch door no longer locked
