Repeated intro
Hello Living, Tech Test 3 will end Wednesday 8th of July, 10am BST. As it comes to a close, we want to thank everyone who took part, shared feedback, reported issues, and spent time exploring the World After the End with us. We are sending out the last invite wave for all the late applications and exhaust our available key allocation for this test. If you have not jumped into the playtest yet, this is your last chance to do so! For those who missed out, we have opened up 'Open Beta invites'. Simply click ‘Request Access’ on 'Join the Hunger Playtest, in the HUNGER STEAM STORE page. We will notify via our social channels when the Open Beta goes live later this year.

HUNGER changes
Over the course of the test, we were able to deploy several hotfixes addressing critical issues affecting stability, matchmaking, and the overall player experience. While issues still remain, we are encouraged by the increasing stability of the experience and by the progress we have made throughout the test.
The road ahead now leads toward Open Beta, but before we get there, there is still significant work to do. Our priorities remain infrastructure stability, balance, continued development of the Mastery system, and ongoing polish across every aspect of the game, from visuals and audio to gameplay, progression, and performance. The purpose of these tests has always been to identify weaknesses, fix them, and build a stronger foundation for the future.

It has been incredibly exciting to watch players enter Hunger's world for the first time. Seeing your stories, discoveries, triumphs, frustrations, feedback, videos, and discussions has provided us with invaluable insight into how the game is experienced outside of our studio.
If you've enjoyed your time with Hunger, please consider wishlisting the game on Steam. It genuinely helps us and makes a meaningful difference as we continue development. HUNGER Wishlist Here:
Following Open Beta, our goal is to move toward Early Access later this year. We'll share more information about timing as development progresses. Our focus has never been to move as quickly as possible, but to move as well as possible. Every milestone is ultimately in service of building the strongest foundation for the years ahead.
Every system in Hunger remains under active development, and polish will continue right up to launch and beyond.
Early Access will not be the finish line for Hunger. For us, it is the beginning of the journey. It is the moment when we can start building the game alongside a much larger community, continuously expanding and improving it through regular updates. Looking further ahead, it is also our goal to bring Hunger to current-generation consoles following Early Access.
We have multiple new regions in production, a large number of new weapons and equipment pieces being created, additional Hunger variants planned, new gameplay features under development, and the first foundations of Hunger's long-term endgame beginning to take shape. Our production pipeline aims to deliver these in free updates after our Early Access launch.
When Hunger enters Early Access, we will also introduce a living roadmap that will be updated over time. Rather than serving as a static promise of distant features, it will provide visibility into the areas of the game we are actively working on, helping players understand our priorities and follow the evolution of the project as development continues.
This is an incredibly exciting period for the team. If you've enjoyed what you've played so far, you've only seen a small glimpse of what lies ahead.
Thank you again for helping us take this important step toward bringing Hunger to life. We'll see you in the Open Beta. THANKS GOOD FUN CORP Steam post image Concept Art: The Cauldron
