Expanded Arsenal
- New AugmentsWe’ve added more ways to break the game! The total count has been boosted to 44 unique augments , giving you even more variety in the Skill Tree and mid-run selections.
Steam Deck & Performance
Steam Deck Tested: We’ve been testing, and Hover Point runs great on the Steam Deck! Take the chaos on the go with full support.
- Adaptive QualityNo more fiddling with menus! We’ve added Adaptive Performance Graphics that automatically adjust settings in real-time to keep your framerate smooth during the most intense bullet-hell moments.
Multiplayer Polish: Further under-the-hood optimizations to ensure asynchronous lobbies remain stable and lag-free.
Accessibility: Scopophobia Mode
We know the "Googly Eye" update was a big change! For players who find the feeling of being watched uncomfortable, we’ve added Scopophobia Mode. This allows you to toggle the eyes off while still enjoying the updated character models and visuals.
Competitive & HUD Updates
Monthly Resets: We are moving from a bi-weekly to a Monthly Leaderboard Reset. This gives you more time to master the meta and fight for that top Score Per Second (SPS) spot!
- Adaptive ControlsA new on-screen indicator now automatically detects and shows controls based on your current input (Mouse, Keyboard, or Controller).
Low Health Warning: You’ll now hear a Heartbeat sound cue when your health is low, helping you stay focused on dodging when it matters most.
The Road Ahead
- In-Game RoadmapWant to see what’s coming next? We’ve added a Development Roadmap directly in the game menu so you can track our progress toward version 1.0!
