Horror Hunt changes
NEW:
JUMP SCARE TRAP ( Props )
Each prop player has 1 jump scare trap. Simply place this down near codes, doorways, or anywhere.
EMP Grenade ( Hunted )
Each Hunter has 2 EMP grenades that knock surrounding props out of their prop form and silencing them for 1 second
Silence is a new mechanic that prevents props from using any ability besides their melee attack
HUNTED:
Increased hunted's glowstick throw speed from 1500 to 2000
Flickering flashlight events are now much quicker and random
Fixed a bug that caused glowsticks to go through the ground or walls
Now spawn with flashlight ON
PROP:
Changed prop line trace detection to turn into prop from 600 to 700 (Can change into prop much further away now)
Decreased the rate at which nightvision is used. (Nightvision lasts roughly 25 percent longer)
Reworked the appearance of nightvision (Again)
Fixed a bug where being hit while in nightvision will remove the green effect
Prop rotation is now set to mouse wheel up and down. No longer needed to lock in place
Melee damage increased from 20 to 25
GAMEPLAY:
At the beginning of the round the map is lit up so props can setup without nightvision This gradually degrades until Blindfold phase is over
Fixed Explosion trap spawning for clients
Added nameplates above player's heads (This only shows for teammates)
Being hit by a prop's throwing dagger will now removed the Hunted from the keypad door if it's being used
Added an "Interact" text to the code door when close by
Entering the wrong code will now kill you (Guess wisely)
HUD:
Implemented Key Bindings 1.0 in the settings
Added "How To Play" on the Main Menu
When glowstick count is 0, text is changed to red within the Hunted HUD
When traps count is 0, text is changed to red within the Hunted HUD
When EMP count is 0, text is changed to red within the Hunted HUD
When Health count is 25 or below, text is changed to red within the Hunted HUD
When traps count is 0, text is changed to red within the Prop HUD
When Health count is 25 or below, text is changed to red within the Prop HUD
Added trap count in Prop's HUD
Added new sound once the round hits 45 seconds remaining and below
Added silence bar for when silenced
Seconds timer's color changed to red once round hits 45 seconds remaining and below
Fixed the alignment of the options menu to be centered
Optimized and improved scoreboard
Optimized and improved kill feed
SOUND:
Now a notification and sound when the round begins
Ambient Low "Hum" during the rounds has been EQ'd to include less bass
Created EMP grenade trail sound
Created EMP grenade blast sound
Main Menu BGM EQ'd for less bass and better looping
Improved Thunder sounds on map: Warehouse
KEEP IN MIND:
1.0 brings new content to mix things up in Horror Hunt. These two new tools are implemented to be tested and have feedback on their impact of the game. Be mindful that these tools are subject to change for the sake of balancing or even removed.
