Horizon Journey changes
We want to address the current state of Horizon Journey clearly and directly.
Based on your feedback, it is clear that the current build has serious issues. Many of you are running into problems with the UI, progression flow, interactions, and the save system. That frustration is valid. Early Access does not mean these issues are acceptable, and we take responsibility for the state of the game at launch.
Right now, our full focus is on fixing the most impactful problems first. This includes progression blockers, broken or confusing menus, unreliable interactions, save-related issues, and options to reduce motion sickness. We are also reviewing how the game presents itself so expectations and the in-game experience are better aligned.
Here is how we are approaching the next steps:
Now
Reviewing feedback and responding to Steam reviews and discussions
Identifying and prioritizing critical blockers
Next
UI and menu fixes
Progression and crafting flow fixes
Interaction reliability improvements
Save system stabilization
Options to disable headbob and motion blur
Soon
Movement and rover handling improvements
Better tutorial clarity and onboarding
Inventory usability and visual improvements
We know that trust comes from actions, not words. Updates are already in progress, and we will keep communicating as they go live. Thank you to everyone who shared feedback. It is being read and acted on. We are also active on Discord if you prefer to share feedback or follow updates there. DISCORD LINK
