Repeated intro

Hello raiders! We emerge from the clouds of the Galaxy of Neterun to get in touch with you in our weekly update. Version 0.9.0 was a fundamental stepping stone, also for building the new Neterunian Ruins system, based on Neterunian technology, which will be fundamental to the story of Hell Galaxy's raider protagonist (that is, you out there!) and which you will find in version 1.0 of the game. In version 0.9.021, the one you currently have in your hands, you can find examples of ancient Neterunian monuments scattered across our beloved galaxy, standing watch over the fates of the raiders. These are gigantic, ancient Neterunian constructions that date back to long before the arrival of the raider colonists in Neterun. They are not strictly technological structures, but they already contain one of the main concepts of Neterunian worldbuilding: megalithic structures, many of which were built for veneration. This concept is also reflected in their technology. For the Neterunians, we wanted to combine both an idea of a sacred alien order, with repeating yet archaic shapes, and an idea of living technology.

changedSteam post imageNeterunian technology, once activated, is alive and pulsing. We therefore created materials that responded to this need: there is always something flowing inside Neterunian structures, a biological and viscous material that the Neterunians used to build some of their structures and that was sensitive to their "mind".
removedThis order, however far removed from anything human, suggests the idea of a schematic society searching for something higher, even if that search is alien and incomprehensible in the eyes of the raiders. This is also why we used the idea of a continuous, intertwined environment, like a single organism developing in different forms. The Ruins are now ruined and destroyed, but among their shapes it is still possible to glimpse this sort of continuity of space. There is more among those ruins, spaces forgotten by time and ruined by events whose memory is frozen forever within the coils of that ancient technology... Steam post imageBut enough spoilers for today! We look forward to seeing you in the next update.
