We’re finally back with a new patch.
What are the main updates?
First of all, a new set of modules themed around the Gold and Iron Guilds. These modules can be unlocked at the two guild stations in the Core area, and we can’t wait for you to try them out.
With these modules, we are also introducing a new feature: quest based unlocking. Until now, the only way to obtain new modules was through station unlocks. From now on, you will also be able to unlock modules or hulls at the end of certain quests, starting with this new module pack, which you will receive at the end of the Iron and Gold Guild side quests.
Once unlocked, these modules will be available for purchase at any station in Limbo or the Core.
Among the other additions, you will find new sound effects for Dyrcona’s capital ship explosion cutscene, an initial update to the Stabilizer VFX to better connect it to the player’s ship, as well as several bug fixes.
Below is a list of the main additions introduced in this patch.
What’s New
New Modules New modules have been added as rewards at the end of the Iron Guild and Gold Guild side quests in the Core area.
Quest Based Module Unlocking Introduced a new system that allows modules to be unlocked through quests. Once unlocked, they can be purchased at stations across the galaxy.
Dyrcona Capital Ship Explosion Sound Effects Completely reworked the sound effects for Dyrcona’s capital ship explosion to enhance the impact of the final moment of the battle.
Stabilizer VFX Updated the Stabilizer activation visual effects to better connect them to the player’s ship.
Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug that prevented certain dialogues from triggering after collecting specific neural fragments
Corrected the icon for the Helisum +++ consumable
Fixed a bug that prevented stability from being properly restored in some quest autosaves
Removed outdated elements in the Core area that displayed incorrect icons
Corrected the position of the Dump zone in the Birthy Rock area, which could incorrectly trigger the area entry warning while traveling to Birthy Rock Station
A Look Ahead
We are currently working on a new themed module set based on the story told in the side quest “The Ballad of Thornstone,” as well as on optimization and new narrative content. Keep playing and sharing your feedback with us to help shape our beloved and dangerous Galaxy of Neterun.
Farewell, raiders!
