Each area will add 2 more Heists to the game, bringing the total to 6. The first Major update after this will be the inclusion of the Historic district, with 2 more Heists. After this, the game will continue receiving major and minor updates, adding more Heists, Weapons, Vehicles, Cosmetics and Areas.

Progression to the full game

All progress you make in the game now will carry over to the full game. You can level your crew and character up to level 2. In the full game, you will be able to progress further. Any cash you stash, weapons you acquire and vehicles you steal will be waiting for you in the full game.
