Heist Haven changes
Patch Notes for version 0.5.0:
Early Access Release:
Heist Haven has released in Early Access!
All areas in the game are explorable, but only the Industrial area is considered Early Access-ready. The Industrial Area has 3 heists available:
Cargo Port
Refinery
Cash Transport
The financial district also contains one heist currently:
Bank
The demo is no longer available!
Performance:
Tweaked and improved Lumen implementation, leading to more predictable performance.
Reduced Input Lag significantly by enabling Low-Latency Frame Syncing.
Implemented NVIDIA Reflex for supported graphics cards, further reducing Input Lag.
General Gameplay:
Heists now require all players to be present in front of the Heist to start.
Fixed a bug where NPCs were not correctly being despawned after a game-over. This led to enemies also staying hostile after a heist had failed.
Fixed a bug where enemies would occasionally spawn underneath the floor.
Fixed an issue where enemies would not correctly move up or down angled surfaces.
Fixed an issue where the Refinery heist would randomly start.
Fixed an issue where music would randomly restart during combat when the game transitions from day to night.
Fixed an issue where opening the pause menu would freeze the game briefly.
Changed the way the Drill works, making it more reliable and easier to use.
Added points in the base where items can be stored, which are kept between game sessions.
Heist Haven Network:
Fixed: The “Complete any Heist” objective was not successfully marked as completed.
Added a mission to the demo that will lead into the early-access game when it releases.
Fixed a typo in the word “Cosmetics” on the mission screen.
Vehicles:
Fixed an issue where clients could sometimes have an incorrect camera in vehicles.
Fixed an issue where players would sometimes have incorrect positions in vehicles.
Fixed an issue where the vehicle in the base would respawn twice.
Fixed an issue where clients would sometimes not see vehicle feedback correctly.
Changed the HP bar to show vehicle HP when players are driving a vehicle.
Added the ability to steal vehicles that are being driven by NPCs.
Tweaked overall driving handling slightly more.
Added 2 new vehicles:
HC Blinko:
The Blinko is a tiny, yet affordable and fun sedan that seats four players.
Bootleg Buggy
The Buggy is the perfect off-road companion, seating two players.
Weapons:
All weapons have received updated animations.
Certain weapons have received updated audio.
Added the Thompson SMG.
Heists:
Added the “Cash Transport” Heist.
This is the first “Cash” heist in the game. These Heists do not require players to drop off their loot; instead, they head straight back to the base.
In this Heist, players collect cash from vaults. Vaults need to be unlocked with keycodes, which can be found on a PC upstairs and entered on the terminal in the security room.
Animation
Fixed an issue where first-person animations would be weird when the player was carrying a non-weapon item or nothing at all.
Changed the first-person gun animations to drive the first-person camera partly, leading to a much better gun feel.
Audio
Reworked a large chunk of the weapon audio, focusing on adding more oomph.
Added additional roaming and combat music.
