Patch notes for the demo incoming! The big focus this week is on fixing the game hangs due to bad gugs.
Highlights:
Added a couple of guiding arrows to help new players
Encounter round widget moved to bottom left for easier readability
Gug abilities now vary in complexity more
Quality of Life improvements:
The loading screen is now more interesting
The initial game load should now be shorter
Gug generation is now faster and fails less often
Removed game hitch after selecting a reward
Moving a gug to the same spot is no longer an action and will not affect the undo button
Enemy gugs now come in on a smoother difficulty curve
Lots of bug fixes:
Gug abilities are no longer getting duplicated
Gug abilities no longer work after frying
Biome intro and pause screens no longer have incorrect gug images from time to time
Special gugs now appear in the biome intro and pause screens
The UI should no longer break on resolution change
Encounter ability pop ups now show for enemy gugs present on the screen initially
Removed visual jank when undoing actions and fixed issues with undoing cancelled actions
