changedA few improvements in this build:
addedPlayer names now have the background color that corresponds to their general color in the game: you're green, your opponent is red (the same color is used around the prompts, on project IDs, and in the middle of the table when complex actions are being executed). Bots (in single player mode, or when someone disconnects) have their names written in black, while humans have names written in white.
changedWhen action slots and protect slots are unavailable (e.g. you've selected an action card, which cannot be used to start a regular project), instead of dimming these slots, we cross out their "plus" signs, similar to how we display the price that you cannot pay on action cards.
changedFrom the larger (but still raw) features, we've got the first version of a multiplayer lobby functioning (though not yet beautiful in any way), and the updated main menu, which is focused on multiplayer options.
changedFinally, we have decided to rename the game. It used to be called "Gremlins, Inc. – Card Game" (you can probably still see it on Steam, as the change takes time and requires Valve's approval), and now it will be known as "Gremlins, Inc. – Cards & Projects":

A few improvements in this build:

Player names now have the background color that corresponds to their general color in the game: you're green, your opponent is red (the same color is used around the prompts, on project IDs, and in the middle of the table when complex actions are being executed). Bots (in single player mode, or when someone disconnects) have their names written in black, while humans have names written in white.

When action slots and protect slots are unavailable (e.g. you've selected an action card, which cannot be used to start a regular project), instead of dimming these slots, we cross out their "plus" signs, similar to how we display the price that you cannot pay on action cards.

From the larger (but still raw) features, we've got the first version of a multiplayer lobby functioning (though not yet beautiful in any way), and the updated main menu, which is focused on multiplayer options.

Finally, we have decided to rename the game. It used to be called "Gremlins, Inc. – Card Game" (you can probably still see it on Steam, as the change takes time and requires Valve's approval), and now it will be known as "Gremlins, Inc. – Cards & Projects":

There are 2 reasons:

(1) since the original Gremlins, Inc. game also has cards, the older title could have been confused for the original game (gremlins + cards)

(2) it sounded too generic, lacking something which is available only in this game – and now it has "projects", which is a unique concept for this specific game.

And now, back to work.

We hope to start accepting sign-ups for Steam Playtest next week, and run the actual paytest a couple of weeks from then.
