Version 147

Today we woke up to version 147, and it's a good one. The image you see on the cover, is actually from this version: half of the UI for paying for action cards that cost resources to play, is already in the game.

What changed

0 fixes1 addition4 changes0 removals
  • UI and audio
  • Gameplay
changedThe image you see on the cover, is actually from this version: half of the UI for paying for action cards that cost resources to play, is already in the game.
changedThere are other small improvements, too:
changedThe project IDs have become red and green, to match player colors; there's a special music phrase (sax) at the start of the session to make sure you do not miss getting matched in the lobby; the updated sound for the reshuffling of the deck works; and the sounds of the lamps (that signify how many actions you have left) also work.
changedAs with the original Gremlins, Inc., we find ourselves with a complex UI which, after a while, becomes intuitive. And that means that we will definitely need to have some sort of help in the game, and even tutorial at some point later on.
addedWe thus decided to bring in Gremlinopedia early on – showing all cards in the current deck, and their rules – and we'll try to also add there the explanation of the basic rules of the game. What's score, how do you get it, what's the difference between the real and the fake projects, and so on.

It's going to be an exciting journey. We hope that the community from Gremlins, Inc. will find a lot of things to be obvious and intuitive.
