Big news this week: Grease Trap ’99 will be showing at Glasgow Indie Games Fest 2026!
The demo will be playable in person at GIGF on 11–12 July, alongside a brilliant lineup of indie games from Scotland and beyond.
This also means one important thing: no Steam Next Fest for Grease Trap ’99.
That’s right. If you want to be one of the first people to get a proper taste of the demo, you need to get out of the basement and see it in person.
The demo will then be released on Steam the weekend after the festival, so if you cant make it you’ll still get a chance to play the demo before release.
I’m genuinely really excited to be part of the event. There are loads of games on the lineup I’m looking forward to checking out, especially CROWDED. FOLLOWED. by NIGHT DIAL which I’ve been following for a long time!
