changedBad news - a lot of time wastedMost of you might not have been aware of it, but in the last 7 months we've put a lot of time, energy and effort negotiating with various investors / publishers about financing our first game. We've attended many events and discussions that costed us a big chunk of time we could have put elsewhere - into the development of course. Due to this matter, a lot of content we've wanted to release this year was either delayed or cut out completely. Unfortunately, we haven't signed contract with any of the related parties as their terms & conditions were unfair and unfavorable.
changedGood news - development statusOn the flip side, we obtain resources for the development from outsourcing projects and contracts. This provides us with complete independence, although, we can't afford to enlarge our development teams from such profits.
changedTutorial missionBringing a tutorial / prologue mission is still part of the plan. As a matter of fact, we've already designed some core gameplay. A goal of the tutorial mission is to guide player through the game's mechanics which will allow the player to adapt and master them on a deeper level.
addedAchievements ImplementationAfter-mission statistics are part of a bigger plan and it directly connects to achievements. Some basic ones have already been added. Do you have ideas for some cool achievements? Let us know.

Greetings our fellow Rebels and followers, We've been working hard on some new stuff and we're excited to share it with you. So let's dive right into it, shall we?

Bad news - a lot of time wasted

Most of you might not have been aware of it, but in the last 7 months we've put a lot of time, energy and effort negotiating with various investors / publishers about financing our first game.

Good news - development status

However, we have good news for you as well. We dedicated whole December into the production - meaning we've been working on last two missions of the first Gray Zone chapter.

We take all your valuable feedback to the heart and we are doing our best to implement accordingly. Our pace is slow, nonetheless, as our team currently consists of only 3 full-time members and one part-time externist. So it's quite difficult.

On the flip side, we obtain resources for the development from outsourcing projects and contracts. This provides us with complete independence, although, we can't afford to enlarge our development teams from such profits.

Tutorial mission

Bringing a tutorial / prologue mission is still part of the plan. As a matter of fact, we've already designed some core gameplay. A goal of the tutorial mission is to guide player through the game's mechanics which will allow the player to adapt and master them on a deeper level.

Achievements Implementation

After-mission statistics are part of a bigger plan and it directly connects to achievements. Some basic ones have already been added. Do you have ideas for some cool achievements? Let us know.

Finish line

In any case, we will definitely finish Chapter 1 in our section and we will be looking for alternatives that will allow us further continuation on the project. Don't forget to give us feedback on Discord or Steam so we can constantly improve the game.

30% sale until January 5th

As part of the Steam Winter Sale, Gray Zone is on sale which will last until January 5th 2021.
