Gravepact changes
This patch adds a bunch of smaller features and a few bug fixes (no Forge yet).
Additions
*Enemy HP toggle option added *Damage text on hit toggle option added *Screen flash when hit toggle option added *Added player Health bar to upper left interface, as well as numerical values for your current/max health and experience. *Passive item tooltips now display the item stat provided
Traits
You might have noticed there is(was) a lot of empty space at character selection. That space is mostly meant to be filled by traits. The demo has four traits added. Traits are passive abilities that change the game in some way but don't provide you with bonuses outright, or if they do, they come at a penalty. Thee of the traits increase adjust some stats. The fourth introduces curses.
Curses
The final game will have more than one but the demo has one curse: Curse of Dis. Picking this trait will cause you to be haunted by the very annoying specter of Dis, a long dead lich. It moves slowly but cannot be attacked and his power grows the more cursed items you take on and level.
New Passive Items
Common Items: Pocket Bible +1 resurrection. You gain attack/defense every time you resurrect. Rotten Meat Enemies have 20% more attack, defense and health per item level and spawn slightly faster. This mostly just makes the game harder. Wicker Doll Increases Retaliation damage and gives you a small chance to KO enemies on a retaliation attack Sextant Increases Multishot chance. Multishot is a chance to double the number of projectiles fired by projectile attacks
New Item rarities: Cursed and Rare. They will show up less often than regular items at level-ups. Rares are usually better than regular items.
Cursed Items: Left Hand, Right Hand, Black Heart and Evil Eye of Dis. These items won't show up unless you pick the "Curse of Dis trait"
Rare Item: Sin Eater - Reduce curse potency. Every level of a cursed item you get makes curses stronger and this item can make that more manageable. Not useful and won't show up if you don't pick the "Curse of Dis" trait as that's the only curse in the demo. This is also the only rare item in the demo (sorry to disappoint), although I might add a couple more later.
Changes *Gravekeeper shovel as well as the weapons of the upgraded classes(Cryptkeeper, Laborer) have been modified. Greatly reduced their size scaling and doubled their starting damage and per level damage bonus *Passive items will now show cumulative stat gains on levelup *Blade Dancer damage bonus increased to 50/100/150 *Changed Fullscreen, Restart and Quit buttons to F1, F5 and F12 respectively
Bug Fixes *Blade Dancer damage formula fixed. *Status Effect damage did twice the damage/tick it was supposed to, this has been fixed.
