🔥 Key Changes • Engine upgrade – transition to Unreal Engine 5.5. • New Mechanics: • Added vending machines and sales kiosks. • Introduced a new split decoration system. • 60+ new decoration objects added.
🎮 Gameplay Improvements • 21 Steam achievements added. • Easter eggs added – find and collect them in the game world. • Fixed task completion logic – purchasing materials through Office PC now counts towards task completion. • Fixed rating calculation issues in fitness centers and cinemas.
🎨 Graphical Changes • Improved post-processing, lighting, and sky sphere. • Revamped the mall’s exterior and interior. • Enhanced exposure in post-processing. • Adjusted nighttime lighting. • Optimized trees for better performance. • Temporarily removed bushes and other vegetation from streets for performance research. • Added posters on the mall walls.
🚀 Optimization • Complete rework of all LODs to improve FPS. • Optimized lighting, shadows, and textures. • Updated Storekeepers’ logic – reduced CPU load. • Fixed store icons on the third floor (PC version). • Extensive work on optimizing various aspects of the game.
📊 User Interface (UI) Improvements • Fixed UI display in the warehouse – now showing the correct item count. • Fixed bank UI – now displaying accurate financial data for each store. • Added a new UI section in the bank – shows income from vending machines and sales kiosks for cash withdrawals. • Added posters on the mall walls. • Fixed store menu icon errors. • Fixed issues in the main menu (ESC menu).
🎭 NPC and Animation Fixes • Fixed an issue where customer animations would freeze upon exiting a store. • Fixed an issue where the Storekeeper would not appear in the warehouse. • Fixed NPC queueing issues at the checkout. • Fixed animation loops and activation issues for NPCs. • Fixed synchronization issues between animations and in-game time. • Fixed an issue where customers could tip multiple times in a row. • Fixed incorrect customer ratings after purchases.
🔊 Audio Fixes • Fixed an issue where purchase sound effects played twice. • Fixed audio artifacts when placing decorations. • Fixed missing audio in cinemas when playing videos. • Fixed distorted sound effects when interacting with decorations. • Fixed strange sound effects in the electronics store when making purchases.
⚙ Object Placement Fixes • Fixed shelves occasionally overlapping each other. • Fixed decorations disappearing after a level restart. • Fixed an issue where moved shelves became "ghost shelves" when movement was canceled. • Fixed world placement grid synchronization issues. • Fixed shelves incorrectly reacting to NPC collisions.
🔧 Technical Fixes • Added OnlineSubsystem Steam – achievements can now be earned. • Fixed an issue where the Storekeeper made multiple requests to material boxes, causing performance lag. • Fixed a bug where the dynamic sun lighting system caused artifacts when intensity changed quickly.
🌍 Localization • Added two new languages – Russian and Polish.
