Progress Update 2

A common question we hear is: "When will the game be released?” We originally predicted that we would be able to release the game in March. We've done our best to meet that date, but recently it became clear that we wouldn't be able to finish in time.

That doesn't mean we haven't made a lot of progress! In Gordian Rooms 2, instead of being trapped in the titular rooms themselves, you will be able to explore a small island with lots of puzzles in and out of sight.

Once you have made your way to the island, you will also find a lavish mansion with several rooms, each containing different puzzles:

So hopefully it will be worth the wait! We are trying our best to finish the game as soon as possible, but with only 2 developers and only one published project behind us, we lack the experience to predict how long things will take.

What's the release date then? Q2 2023.

To be more precise would require us to make predictions again, which we have already shown we are not too good at. We will announce the exact date as soon as we know it, most likely a month prior.

We spent over two years of constant development time on the game and don’t want anything to spoil the experience, so we kindly ask for your patience.
