๐Ÿ”Š Audio Overhaul

  • Your staff now actually makes noise while they work โ€” the stocker placing products and hauling boxes, the janitor sweeping, mopping and blasting the fire extinguisher, the cashier ringing customers up item by item, and the security guard throwing hands during raids.

  • Basement machines got a smoother voice: processing hums no longer stutter or cut off harshly as you move around the workshop, machines wind down instead of stopping dead, and finished products audibly tumble out of the chute.

  • Sound now respects the building: what happens upstairs stays (mostly) upstairs. Working in the basement, the store above is a faint murmur instead of playing in your ear โ€” and vice versa. Footsteps and raid chaos still carry through the floor, on purpose. You'll want to know about that.

  • Fires now crackle properly indoors, and a fresh volume balance pass across cleaning tools, the door chime, and more.

โšก The Basement Draws Power

  • When a machine kicks on, the basement lights sag, flicker, and climb back up. The goo doesn't process itself cheaply.

๐Ÿšถ Smoother Shoppers

  • Customers no longer ice-skate on frozen feet when they get blocked, squeeze past each other, turn, or stop โ€” they take actual steps now, including little shuffles when jostled in the checkout queue.

๐Ÿ”ง Fixes & Balance

  • Your rifle finally remembers its magazine โ€” loaded ammo is saved and restored correctly across sessions, with no more mysteriously empty (or mysteriously refilled) mags.

  • Steady Aim has moved off the sprint key โ€” it now defaults to Caps Lock and can be rebound in Settings.

  • Hunter Boots rebalanced to a +30% speed bonus.

  • Fixed a visual glitch when a certain someone makes an appearance in the forest.

  • Fixed basement machine screen quirks: double-click transfer working reliably and inventory icons no longer growing with repeated drags.
