addedSteady Aim — hold your breath while aiming down sights for a steadier shot. Costs stamina, and the key is rebindable in Settings. - Hunter Boots — a one-time purchase at the woods cabin that permanently boosts your movement speed. - Traps now have proper audio — throwing, landing, and picking up all sound like they should.
changedImprovements
fixedCustomers and staff walk naturally — fixed sliding, floating feet, and stiff gaits across all NPCs. - Lower memory use and smoother loading: reworked audio import for large sounds and 99 effects, and enabled texture streaming on High and Ultra. - Smaller install — stripped a large amount of unused content from the build.
changedBig save-reliability batch: Steam Cloud syncing is now much more robust across machines, failed loads can no longer destroy saved data, and permadeath cleanup is consistent everywhere. - Loading an older save no longer resets your "Hire an Employee" tutorial progress. - The "Game saved" confirmation now only appears when the game actually saved. - Fixed music permanently cutting out if it restarted during a scene transition. - The Deer Man's final hunt no longer quietly locks itself again if the confrontation runs past midnight — and the warning you get for shooting him too early now hints at what's coming instead of lying to you. - Felled deer now stay where they dropped, their eyes go dark, and they're harvestable exactly where the body lies. - Janitors and hired cleaners no longer get shoved off their task by passing crowds. - Fixed several ways customers, stockers, and deliveries could get permanently stuck mid-task. - Fixed a rare soft-lock when leaving cashier mode. - HUD notifications (salary payments, warnings) are no longer lost if they arrive during a cutscene. - Steam Deck: menu navigation now works correctly when the controller presents itself as a keyboard.
