Gold and Wars changes
This update focuses on improving gameplay balance, camera controls, and overall usability in the demo version, based on early feedback and testing.
⚔️ Gameplay Changes
Reduced the tribute cost for passing through bandit fields
Added a cap to bandit tribute payments
Maximum tribute is now 40,000 gold
Increased poison damage to 10 health
Increased bleeding damage to 20 health
Added a visual indicator for rolled dice in the player widget
When an opponent enters your field and chooses to pay tribute instead of fighting:
A coin sound now plays
A message shows how much gold you received
Improved camera controls:
Zoom in/out using the mouse wheel
Rotate the camera by holding any mouse button and moving the mouse
Increased maximum zoom-out distance
Updated camera modes to support the new control scheme
Improved keyboard-based camera controls
Fixed a bug where field information could open while the game menu was active
🧩 Non-Gameplay Updates
Added the Bluesky social link to the main menu
Updated the developer message in the main menu
Added the label “Number of Opponents” to the game creation screen
Adjusted text spacing and layout
Added localization for all new texts
