Godking: Master of Rituals changes
Hi guys,
We just published a new patch for our testers, getting one step closer to ready for early access. We will start posting these every time there is a new patch from now on :)
General
Units on world map will now be less obscured/hidden by trees and other world map objects. This makes the world map a lot easier to read at a glance
The world map has been optimized with more LODs - lower quality versions of holdings for when zoomed far out. This will help the game run better on older hardware
When picking a faction on the faction select screen, the incarnation select screen will now open with the thematic suggestion for that faction first
There are now tooltips when hovering over units on the combat summary screen, making it consistent with the rest of the game
Added a Delete button to the Save/Load screens, making it easier to delete old saves

New Incarnation: The Godwyrm of Fire - this is an incredibly powerful incarnation choice, capable of winning the game almost alone with little help from its faction. It is Godking on easy mode, but it is a lot of fun! Mercia is perhaps the most thematic pick for the Godwyrm, but anything works with it. It is a bit like having an Apache attack helicopter on turn 1, while the enemy still has bows.
Fixes
Fixed an issue where AI players could pick up and wander around with units that have the Stationary trait. These units are not supposed to be able to be moved by walking, and it could make the Khaoset ai player especially difficult to deal with
Fixed an issue where pausing combat would always take you back to x1 playback speed. It will now unpause at the playback speed you already selected
Fixed an issue where picking up a chest with no resources in it (only artifacts), would still display an empty resource notification
Fixed a bug where Attacks would always say 1 when inspecting units, even if they had the Haste trait
Fixed a bug where scrolling the mouse over UI to move the scrollbar, would also change the zoom of the world camera
