changedIn this report we're excited to show you what we managed to make. In order to show you how the final game could actually look, we clenched our butts, crushed our deadlines and polished up some buildings, redesigned others aaaaaand made them ready for animations that are coming up later on, so brace yourselves 'cause it's a bunch :D
addedFirst off, we want to remind you how some of the buildings looked like before and compare them to the new ones, with repainted textures, so the long road we've come is even more emphasized.
addedTo "Hive" we added honeycombs, bees, jars and ultra-big bee to ward-off any honey-stealing gnomes. Everything will be animated :)
addedHatmaker was slightly changed to make textures *pop*, we got rid of stone base which wasn't fitting with other buildings in this tier and added some barrels with materials and grass.
fixedAs far as redesigning goes, we completely re-did all farms, worked on making them coherent with eachother, so now they're not just plots of land but actually farms with farm-gnomes to live by, have a place to chill out, store plants, so it feels more alive and lived in. We also fixed some inconsistencies with scale.
changedWe also had a few buildings that we weren't happy about anymore, so we decided it's time for an upgrade. One of those building was Rabbit Farm. The original one didn't have... any rabbits and was closed-off from top, so nothing could be seen from typical city-builder perspective, so we scraped everything and made it again from zero. We hope you like it as much as we do :)

[Hive before and after]

Hatmaker was slightly changed to make textures *pop*, we got rid of stone base which wasn't fitting with other buildings in this tier and added some barrels with materials and grass.

[Hatmaker before and after]

As far as redesigning goes, we completely re-did all farms, worked on making them coherent with eachother, so now they're not just plots of land but actually farms with farm-gnomes to live by, have a place to chill out, store plants, so it feels more alive and lived in. We also fixed some inconsistencies with scale.

[Potato Farm before and after]

[Poppy Farm before and after]

We also had a few buildings that we weren't happy about anymore, so we decided it's time for an upgrade. One of those building was Rabbit Farm. The original one didn't have... any rabbits and was closed-off from top, so nothing could be seen from typical city-builder perspective, so we scraped everything and made it again from zero. We hope you like it as much as we do :)

And look at those cutie-pies!!! <3 (they could eat gnomes whole O.o)

[Rabbit Farm before and after]

We've come a long road since last Progress Report. Our team got a tiny bit bigger, we worked on better organisation to work better and faster, we put up beautiful ArtGuide for ourselves to not dwell on design in next steps and make new buildings coherent with eachother from the go.

We appreciate your support and hope to see you soon, in the next summary, GliviGames Dev Team

Please, be sure to add Gnomepunk to wishlist and stay in touch with our annoucements. We also humbly invite you to join our studios Discord server and keep track of all our game projects.
