Below are the key changes.

Visual Effects & Readability Improvements

  • Added visual effects along the edges of the HUD when taking damage or being affected by status effects.

  • Added dedicated VFX to improve visibility when entering lava areas.

  • Added visibility-enhancing VFX to make food items easier to identify.

  • Added a dedicated visual effect for Devour executions.

Level Design & Difficulty Flow Improvements

  • Adjusted the early-game level design to create a smoother learning curve.

  • Improved progression so that new enemy types and upgrades appear more gradually as the game progresses.

Character & Unlock Condition Adjustments

  • Unlock conditions for Mia and Nero have been relaxed.

  • MiaIncreased cooldown for her invincibility skill.
  • NeroIncreased Devour range.

Combat System Changes

  • Improved hit feedback and responsiveness of the basic attack (Burger Power).

  • Adjusted the minimum requirement for triggering Meal Combos. PreviousDefeat 2 enemies consecutively New: Defeat 3 enemies consecutively

Food Power & Recipe System Expansion

Set Recipe System Added

  • Added recipes that activate effects when two Food Powers are held simultaneously.

  • Set recipes appear as a low-probability option in selections.

Example:

  • Hitting an enemy with Burger Power has a chance to trigger Pizza Power.

Recipe Rarity Synergy System Added

  • The rarity of owned Food Power recipes now increases the appearance rate of Relics and Spices that enhance the corresponding Food Power.

  • Owning a recipe increases the chance for higher-rarity versions of that recipe to appear.

Update Goals

This update was developed with the following goals in mind:

  • Strengthening combat feedback

  • Expanding build synergies

  • Lowering the early-game entry barrier

  • Improving visual readability
