π§ Update v0.2.35 β Economy Deluxe 2.0, Two-Sided Live Spot Market & Naval Convoy Pooling
Hello Commanders!
This update introduces Economy Deluxe 2.0 and dynamic naval transport convoys. It also adds a fully live two-sided spot market, starting embassy configurations, and construction UI warnings.
π New Feature: Economy Deluxe 2.0 & Physical Resource Units
Physical Units Model: Re-engineered our entire resource economy. Production, consumption, stockpiles, and reserves now represent actual physical quantities (such as metric tons or ounces) rather than arbitrary fractions of local GDP, making surplus and stockpile calculations realistic.
Tiered Consumption: National consumption is now dynamically calculated using population size and income-tier demand profiles.
- Commodity Price AdjustmentsAdjusted base market values for Coffee and Cocoa, and updated precious metals (Gold and Silver) to be measured and priced per troy ounce.
π New Feature: Two-Sided Spot Market & AI Trading
Live Price Pressure: The spot market is now fully two-sided. Bulk buying commodities slips the quoted price up (up to a 2.0x ceiling), and bulk selling slips the quoted price down. Fills execute at the order midpoint to prevent market exploitation.
AI Global Market Trading: Computer-controlled countries now actively participate in the live spot market. They will automatically buy resources to resolve domestic deficits and sell off excess surpluses, creating a self-stabilizing, living global economy.
Price Pressure Indicators: The resource overview panel now displays live quoted prices alongside oversold or overbought market pressure badges.
β Naval Auto-Transport Convoys & Pathing
Manpower-Based Transport: Fleet capacities are now calculated in actual troop numbers (manpower) rather than a flat count of regiments. Large capital ships (such as Aircraft Carriers) can now realistically ferry up to 20,000 troops per voyage.
Convoy Pooling: The naval auto-transport planner will now automatically pool up to 8 fleets into a single convoy and manage coordinated round-trips for large-scale military redeployments.
Prefer Land Routing: Armies moving short distances (up to 8 hops) on the same landmass now prefer land routing, preventing unnecessary sea transport prompts.
ποΈ Diplomacy & Embassies
Starting Embassies: Allied nations and treaty partners (including NATO members) now begin campaigns with established embassies at startup, resolving initial diplomatic bottlenecks.
Refusal Explanations: Initiating debt-trap proposals that get declined now report specific operational reasons (such as maximum loans reached or insufficient treasury) rather than a generic error.
ποΈ Construction Management
- Increased Build CapRaised the limit for concurrent construction projects per country from 30 to 50.
Projected Upkeep Warning: The province building UI now displays a warning if your queued construction projects would exceed your country's monthly net budget surplus.
