changedJACK THE RIPPERIn exchange for 1 max hp, removes a side from all of your dice. Pair this with obariyon's coin and you've got yourself a 1-sided die that'll always land on the same side!
changedMARY SUETwo very interesting choices: you can either fill up all your empty dice slots with Mary Sue's badly drawn "husbands", in exchange for some max hp, or you can seal the faces on all your dice (cementing your current build permanently) while also making all your dice much stronger... Because you're already perfect, just the way you are!
changedJINMENKENHe'll ask for a random amount of money, in exchange for which he'll reward you with a sopping wet cardboard box full of.... Stuff. Could be lots of good stuff, could be nothing at all. Are you willing to gamble?
changedVENUSIn exchange for nothing at all, will either increase your max hp by 1 or fully heal you. Lovely!! Not all pests come with drawbacks or tough choices: sometimes you just get to appreciate a small, loving gift.
changedVENUSfree healthcare? in this economy?
addedVENUSSo how about it, found yourself a new fav pest yet? Or maybeeeee you want to see more of them?

At this point you might be all too familiar with the monsters and yokai that roam the world of GIMMIKO. But what if we told you that there’s more than meets the eye? That deep, deeeeeep underground (or between some enemy waves lol) dwell mysterious creatures known as…

PESTS. IN THEIR NESTS.

These are monsters and characters stemming from cultures all over the world who can aid you on your journey to end the Jabberwock Night! Some are scary, some are tough, some are cute, some are nasty... But as long as you’re willing to play by their rules, every encounter with a Pest might help in one way or another.

So today we’ll dive deep into the unknown to try and befriend a few of these pests! (for better or worse) (we’re not really sure…)

OBARIYON

An extremely heavy creature from Japanese folklore who clings on travellers' backs and asks them to bring him to their home... Where they'll suddenly turn into a pile of gold coins!

Clings to your back, preventing you from jumping or moving fast. After a couple of waves it turns into a special coin that you can use as a 2-sided die. It's very powerful: the less sides a die has, the more consistent its output!

JACK THE RIPPER

An infamous and mysterious english serial killer from the 1880s...

In exchange for 1 max hp, removes a side from all of your dice. Pair this with obariyon's coin and you've got yourself a 1-sided die that'll always land on the same side!

we are still not sure if he got a loicense for this

MARY SUE

The very embodiment of absolute perfection, flawlessness, and creativity, with a tragic backstory and a huge harem of husbands and boyfriends... Or so she says.

Two very interesting choices: you can either fill up all your empty dice slots with Mary Sue's badly drawn "husbands", in exchange for some max hp, or you can seal the faces on all your dice (cementing your current build permanently) while also making all your dice much stronger... Because you're already perfect, just the way you are!

the real question is are *you* enough of a mary sue to make it work?

JINMENKEN

A nasty dog with the face of a human. Enjoys getting shitfaced drunk while betting on horse races, but doesn't really have the income to support this hobby.

He'll ask for a random amount of money, in exchange for which he'll reward you with a sopping wet cardboard box full of.... Stuff. Could be lots of good stuff, could be nothing at all. Are you willing to gamble?

you call this gambling, we call it strategic investment

VENUS

The ancient, yet ever-present ideal of love, beauty and fertility.

In exchange for nothing at all, will either increase your max hp by 1 or fully heal you. Lovely!! Not all pests come with drawbacks or tough choices: sometimes you just get to appreciate a small, loving gift.

free healthcare? in this economy?

So how about it, found yourself a new fav pest yet? Or maybeeeee you want to see more of them?

…Well, you’ll have to wait for the game to come out first! However what we can say for now is expect to see a few familiar faces among the pests crowd………….

until next time. have a good (jabberwock) night! sorryponiko & critical reflex crew
