MAKING THE GIMMICKS EVEN GIMMIKIER WITH MODS AND STUFF

today we’re gonna fill the gimmiko shaped hole in your gimmiko shaped hearts with more… gimmicks. More specifically... Gimmick mods!!!

MODS are the latest breakthrough in Gimmick technology patented by Suezaki Pharmaceutics. with the power of magic, science, and a ditzy middle aged catboy you are now able to MODIFY your dice with new properties and change gimmicks work, move, and deal damage!!

this is the apex of pure scientific genius.

and you’ll get access to them starting from WORLD TWO? wow!!!!

Mods affect the behaviour of every single gimmick in the entire game… For better or for worse. Let’s take a look at a few combos!!!

MOD COMBO #1: SPRAY N PRAY + TRIGGER FINGERS + GUNPOWDER GELATINE

unleash a barrage of bullets with the Spray n' pray gimmick, then EXPLODE those bullets on impact with Trigger fingers + Gunpowder gelatine! Basically: turn a ton of weak bullets into fodder for carpet bombing yokai!!

Featuring El Diego from Pizza Tower! (Who unfortunately also inherits the exploding effect)

MOD COMBO #2: BZZZZZOMG + GUN WITH A GUN

Combine BZZZOMG which spawns a ton of bees with a Gun with a gun mod and you now have a bunch of bees with guns. We’re still conducting research on the ethics of giving bees guns, but they don’t really seem to mind em at all!!

You could also make guns shoot guns if you really want to.

MOD COMBO #3: K-JIG + KICKSTAND + RABBIT TILE + NOSE OF A BLOODHOUND

K-Jig’s thorns are already a great way to deal tons of damage all at once…. But wouldn’t they be even better if they marched towards enemies? Let’s add some speed with Kickstand, multiply it with Rabbit tile, and make those thorns rotate towards enemies using Nose of a Bloodhound!

by the way, everything from above still applies here!! so you can totally give those thorns guns if you really felt like it. And maybe make the bullets from those guns explode while you’re at it.

MOD COMBO #4: SPICE HIT + STICKY COATING + DICE CHARM

Let’s pack some explosive punch into our dice!!! The Dice charm mod makes gimmicks target Dice! so if we make our Spice hit mines sticky using Sticky coating, they'll immediately attach to the die they spawned from, letting us gather a ton of them and throw them at enemies all at the same time!

or you could just turn other bombs into mines using Trigger fingers. You know. Explosions.

we’d love to show you even more mods, but then you’d have less stuff to figure out on your own, so we’ll let you daydream about the infinite possible amount of combinations of Gimmicks and Mods for now and wrap up for today!!!
