addedWith the big batch of changes Valve has made to how soundtracks work here on Steam, the Gigachess - Original Soundtrack DLC has been reconfigured to take advantage of all that good stuff! The OST is now available in FLAC format for anyone into lossless audio, you'll just need to make sure the "Download high-quality audio files" box is checked under the Additional Files section of your Music settings panel.
addedIt's definitely a cool thing that soundtracks can now be picked up separately from their base games, and it's likewise nice that the Steam client has been updated to make accessing your music a little easier. There's a checkable Soundtracks category in the drop-down menu at the top of the library which enables soundtracks to be displayed alongside your games, software and such. Much better than having the music library be hidden away a couple menus deep! There's still a lot that Valve could do to improve the music player itself, but this is altogether an awesome update.

Thanks a lot for playing (and listening to) Gigachess! Here's hoping you all find something cool in the Soundtrack Sale going on now :)
