Hi everyone, this update brings in some more gameplay tweaks and additions to make combat more fun and less frustrating!

Gameplay Additions

  • First change up is the addition of Poise to Armor.

    • Any piece of armor you equip will increase your poise, which will allow you to take hits from enemies without being stunned, until your poise is depleted. Higher poise allows you to both to able to tank more powerful hits and tank a higher quantity of weaker hits.

      • Poise automatically refills overtime and whenever you get stunned.

  • Poise Shrine

    • Reduces poise damage taken from enemies

  • Quickness Shrine

    • Increases Sprint Speed

Gameplay Changes / balance

  • Skeleton Mages now have a dynamic cap on how many units they can summon. More powerful enemies take up more "unit room". So if a Mage summons an elite enemy, then they wont be summoning anything else.

  • Mass graves have less HP. <

  • Reduced the damage (and stamina) of a few enemy attacks. Mainly unarmed Skele and Axe skele.

    • The unarmed Skeleton actually had an attack that was accidentally doing WAY more damage than it should have.

  • Increased the duration of the wind-up for some enemy attacks. Including Axe, Unarmed, and Spear Skeleton.

    • Each of them had attacks that were coming out a bit too fast and there was not really enough time to reasonably react quick enough.

  • Increased the duration of the wind-down for most enemy attacks. Pretty much every enemy got adjusted.

    • A lot of attacks that enemies could do did not have a proper wind down time, causing them to not have a meaningful opening to fight back.

  • Changed the visuals of the player HP, SP, and MP bar.

    • Also added the functionality for them to scale in size the more HP, SP, and MP you have.

  • Slightly reduced the hit stun duration of player Power Attacks, so that you are not guaranteed to chain CC enemies by spamming them.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed a bug where if you used an item while hit stunned, then you would no longer be able to move, attack, or dodge.

  • Fixed a bug where the main menu would not be "in focus" when starting the game. Causing you to have to click twice to select anything for the first time.

  • Fixed a bug where if you died while wearing armor, then you would respawn with a current HP of the MAX HP you had when you died. This also applied to Stamina and Magic
